Clove Oil?
Clove oil is a great natural anti-inflammatory agent and pain reliever. For a toothache, soak a cotton swab in clove oil and dab it against the tooth. You can rub it directly on the sore area. It will numb the pain. You should feel relief quickly.
Salt water rinse?
Warm salt water rinses help with tooth pain. The salt water draws the fluid from the affected area diminishing pressure and relieving pain:
- Mix ½ tsp of table salt in 8 ounces of warm water.
- Swish in your mouth and then spit it out.
TIP: You can gargle with this solution if you have have a sore throat.
Eucalyptus Oil?
Eucalyptus oil is both an antimicrobial agent and an anti-inflammatory. If you want to ease your pain, try using eucalyptus oil!
For this tonic mix:
- 20 drops of eucalyptus essential oil
- 1 cup of warm water
Rince up to 3 times daily. DO NOT swallow.
